Redundancy- many ways to do it...here was one

I have a client with multiple locations that wanted a new phone system and a network design that would  fit a tight budget and have built in redundancy .

Using TelePacific's flex PRI we were able to to keep the cost down and give them voice and data on the same circuit and set up a VPN using Juniper firewalls and built tunnels to each location.  In the event of a failure Covad's wireless internet access was used as a redundant link. Radware's loadbalancing appliance was used to load balance between the primary and secondary links and provide automatic failover in the event of a failure. The Shoretel phone system was implemented at all locations.

"Keep up the good work.  Working with Mathew yesterday was great.  He was very helpful and with his positive attitude made a stressful situation, a fun and interesting one.  The Affant engineers are always so happy to help and seem to make even the impossible, possible."

Anna, Court Call

Once again...Affant to the rescue.  The Affant engineer worked diligently with me and another engineer to isolate and focus on solving the problem.  This allowed me to quickly hone in and replace the defective piece of hardware and restore Internet connectivity to the network.  Fast, Courteous, Efficient!!

"Thank you so much!! We lost power to the equipment in our Chicago location when a sub-contractor unintentionally disconnected the power to our equipment (twice!). Thank you for the heads up that it was down and your patience in working with us (and him) to get it all back up. You guys are great!"
